Early voting
Tuesday, October 13 to Friday, October 30, at any of 22 sites. Weekdays 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Saturdays October 17 and 24, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Sundays October 18 and 25, noon to 6 p.m. Two sites, Living Grace Lutheran Church in Tucker and the Wade Walker Park Family YMCA in Stone Mountain, open only on weekdays October 26 to 30. Election Day
Tuesday, November 3, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., at your assigned polling place. Find yours. Some DeKalb polling places have moved this year; check before you go.
Mail ballot
Any registered voter can vote absentee. Apply online or send the application by email to absenteeballot@dekalbcountyga.gov, by fax to 404-298-4038 or by mail, with your Georgia driver's license or ID number or a copy of your ID. Applications are due 11 days before the election (Friday, October 23). The elections office must receive your ballot by 7 p.m. on Election Day. Voters 65 and older or with disabilities can sign up to get ballots automatically for the year. Details.

Six early voting sites have a drop box inside, open only during early voting hours: the DeKalb VRE office (4380 Memorial Drive, Decatur), Berean Christian Church, Beulah Missionary Baptist Church, Dunwoody Library, Salem-Panola Library and Tucker Library.
Bring
A photo ID: a Georgia driver's license (even if expired), another state or federal photo ID, a U.S. passport, a military or tribal photo ID, a government employee ID, or a Georgia public college student ID. A free Voter ID card is available at the elections office. Full rules.
